About the Company
Amanda Hartman founded Refresh Aesthetics Medspa in Roosevelt, UT, in 2019 out of a recognized need for a skilled, compassionate, and communication-focused cosmetic injector in the Basin area.
Drawing from years of nursing expertise, certification in cosmetic injections, and a commitment to subtly and confidently enhancing clients’ natural beauty, Refresh offers a comprehensive range of high-quality cosmetic and wellness treatments. Refresh is dedicated to meeting all aesthetic goals for patients in the Uintah Basin with professionalism and care.
AMANDA HARTMAN, RN/MSN
Meet Amanda Hartman, a skilled nurse injector with over 15 years of nursing experience. Her passion for patient care is evident in her dedication to providing quality and compassionate treatment to each individual. Beyond her professional achievements, Amanda finds joy in her roles as a “Nana” and Mom, cherishing moments with her family. Known for her commitment to excellence, she continuously seeks to expand her knowledge and skills, embracing a philosophy of lifelong learning in both her personal and professional endeavors.
Emily Rasmussen, Medical Assistant
Emily, a Roosevelt, Utah native, has cultivated extensive experience in the beauty industry, specializing in skincare and makeup over the years. Her personal journey with melasma following her last pregnancy ignited a deeper passion for skincare and treatments aimed at improving skin health. At Refresh Aesthetics, Emily thrives in assisting Amanda and connecting with clients, aiming to ensure they feel comfortable and have an exceptional experience. Outside of work, Emily finds joy in spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandbabies.
Katie Novack, Master Aesthetician
Katie, a 13 year Aesthetics veteran, specializing in laser treatments and skincare. She loves all things aesthetics but her passion for building confidence in people through their skin has always been her driving force. Katie is dedicated to staying at the forefront of her field by continually learning the latest techniques to provide the best care for her patients. Katie has spent the last 13 years in Texas and relocated to Roosevelt in 2024 to be closer to her family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. Katie’s hobbies include interior design, traveling, movies, and shopping.
Jaicey Gines, Patient Experience Specialist
With 12 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist and 5 years as an instructor, Jaicey brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Refresh Aesthetics. Her dedication to her craft and her love for connecting with patients make her a standout member of our team.
Jaicey has been happily married for 10 years and is a proud mother of two. When she’s not taking care of our Refresh Beauties, she enjoys shopping, camping, boating, and RZR riding with her family. Jaicey appreciates the fun and supportive atmosphere at Refresh Aesthetics, where she values both her colleagues and the rewarding work she does.
Mandy Flores, RN/BSN
Mandy Flores is an RN/BSN who is currently pursuing her BSN degree. Mandy was born and raised in California and has lived in Utah for the past 10 years. Mandy has a passion for helping others and loves helping our Refresh Beauties feel like the best version of themselves. When Mandy isn’t working, you will find her at the soccer field, in the wrestling room, or on the baseball field with her kiddos!
Abby Stewart, RN, Aesthetic Nurse
Meet Abby, a proud native of Sanpete County, Utah, where her love for small-town charm was nurtured from a young age. With four years of nursing experience, Abby has honed her skills in laser aesthetic services, specializing in the art of laser hair removal. Fulfilling her lifelong dream, she brings her passion for aesthetic nursing to life at Refresh! When Abby isn’t transforming lives through her work, she cherishes precious moments with her daughter, explores new destinations through travel, and satisfies her sweet tooth with delightful indulgences.
Ashlyn Rice, Master Aesthetician
Ashlyn is a seasoned master aesthetician with seven years of experience, complemented by two years as an aesthetic instructor. She was born and raised in American Fork and is a Utah girl through and through. Ashlyn specializes in microneedling and has vast knowledge of medical-grade skin care. Ashlyn is passionate about helping clients reach their aesthetic goals and is exceptionally skilled at treating acne-prone skin. Ashlyn lives in Roosevelt with her fiance. She loves Halloween, true crime, and cooking!
SHALESE KILLIAN, FNP-C
Shalese Killian, FNP-C is the Medical Director of Refresh Aesthetics. Shalese was born and raised in Neola, Utah. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, and her graduate degree from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. Shalese has been working in the medical field since 2014 and has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2019 practicing in both Hospitalist and Emergency Department medicine. She has always had a deep passion for medicine, and for helping others both feel and look their best! She, together with Refresh Aesthetics, value both client relationships and satisfaction. As medical director, she supports the Refresh mission in helping clients feel confident, beautiful, and refreshed! Shalese is married to Dyllion Killian and together they have a beautiful son, Sawyer. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family on their ranch in Neola, fitness, boating, traveling, mountain biking, and riding horses.
