About the Company

Amanda Hartman founded Refresh Aesthetics Medspa in Roosevelt, UT, in 2019 out of a recognized need for a skilled, compassionate, and communication-focused cosmetic injector in the Basin area.

Drawing from years of nursing expertise, certification in cosmetic injections, and a commitment to subtly and confidently enhancing clients’ natural beauty, Refresh offers a comprehensive range of high-quality cosmetic and wellness treatments. Refresh is dedicated to meeting all aesthetic goals for patients in the Uintah Basin with professionalism and care.

AMANDA HARTMAN, RN/MSN

Meet Amanda Hartman, a skilled nurse injector with over 15 years of nursing experience. Her passion for patient care is evident in her dedication to providing quality and compassionate treatment to each individual. Beyond her professional achievements, Amanda finds joy in her roles as a “Nana” and Mom, cherishing moments with her family. Known for her commitment to excellence, she continuously seeks to expand her knowledge and skills, embracing a philosophy of lifelong learning in both her personal and professional endeavors.

Emily Rasmussen, Medical Assistant

Emily, a Roosevelt, Utah native, has cultivated extensive experience in the beauty industry, specializing in skincare and makeup over the years. Her personal journey with melasma following her last pregnancy ignited a deeper passion for skincare and treatments aimed at improving skin health. At Refresh Aesthetics, Emily thrives in assisting Amanda and connecting with clients, aiming to ensure they feel comfortable and have an exceptional experience. Outside of work, Emily finds joy in spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandbabies.

Katie Novack, Master Aesthetician

Katie, a 13 year Aesthetics veteran, specializing in laser treatments and skincare. She loves all things aesthetics but her passion for building confidence in people through their skin has always been her driving force. Katie is dedicated to staying at the forefront of her field by continually learning the latest techniques to provide the best care for her patients. Katie has spent the last 13 years in Texas and relocated to Roosevelt in 2024 to be closer to her family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. Katie’s hobbies include interior design, traveling, movies, and shopping.

SHALESE KILLIAN, FNP-C

Shalese Killian, FNP-C is the Medical Director of Refresh Aesthetics. Shalese was born and raised in Neola, Utah. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, and her graduate degree from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. Shalese has been working in the medical field since 2014 and has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2019 practicing in both Hospitalist and Emergency Department medicine. She has always had a deep passion for medicine, and for helping others both feel and look their best! She, together with Refresh Aesthetics, value both client relationships and satisfaction. As medical director, she supports the Refresh mission in helping clients feel confident, beautiful, and refreshed! Shalese is married to Dyllion Killian and together they have a beautiful son, Sawyer. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family on their ranch in Neola, fitness, boating, traveling, mountain biking, and riding horses.
